The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus does not cool as standard.

- It is a reversible, cooling-capable platform — the hardware to cool is built in.
- Cooling is shipped locked; Vaillant configures the unit for heating and hot water.
- The cooling coding resistor (0020266328 / 0020269259) must be fitted to unlock it.
- An installer must then enable cooling in the settings.
- Cooling also needs suitable emitters — fan coils, not standard radiators.
- Price of the resistor: GBP 47.50. Condition: new, genuine OEM.
