Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data vheatc.site collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. This site takes no payments and processes no orders, so it collects very little.

What we collect

This site does not sell to you, so we do not collect delivery addresses, order details or payment information. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to send us: the email address (and name and rating) you provide if you submit a product review, and the email address and message you send if you contact us with an enquiry.

Payment data

We take no payments. Purchases are made on eBay, and eBay handles payment entirely on its own systems under its own privacy policy. vheatc.site never receives, sees or stores any card or payment details.

How we use it, and our legal basis

We use the data you send us to publish a moderated review (with your consent) or to answer your enquiry (our legitimate interest in responding to you). We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run this site: Vercel (hosting), Resend (which delivers our notification emails) and Upstash (which durably stores submitted reviews). These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, that processing is covered by appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you follow a link to our eBay listing, eBay sets its own cookies under its own policy — that is outside our control.

How long we keep it

Review submissions are kept for as long as the review is published or under moderation. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. After that, data is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at cooling@vheatc.site. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here. Questions? See our contact page.
