Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data vheatc.site collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. The site takes no payments, has no forms and processes no orders, so it collects very little.
What is collected
This site does not sell to you, so it does not collect delivery addresses, order details or payment information. It has no forms and no email address, so it receives no personal data from you directly. Questions are asked through eBay’s messaging, which eBay handles under its own privacy policy.
When you follow a “Buy on eBay” link, the site counts the click — a running total for each day and each listing. No name, IP address or other identifier is stored with that count.
The site used to have a review form. Reviews sent through it are kept in storage and are not published; you can ask for yours to be deleted (see “Your rights” below).
Payment data
No payments are taken here. Purchases are made on eBay, and eBay handles payment entirely on its own systems under its own privacy policy. vheatc.site never receives, sees or stores any card or payment details.
How it is used, and the legal basis
The anonymous click counts are used only to see which eBay listing visitors choose (a legitimate interest in running the site). Nothing is used for advertising, and nothing is ever sold.
Who it is shared with
Only the service providers needed to run this site: Vercel (hosting, which keeps standard server logs) and Upstash (which stores the anonymous eBay click counts). These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, that processing is covered by appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you follow a link to an eBay listing, eBay sets its own cookies under its own policy — that is outside this site’s control.
How long it is kept
Click counts are kept as running totals. Server logs are kept by Vercel under its own policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, message the seller, boarder895, through eBay. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
